Many Thanks!Occasional reflections and verbal doodles of a Catholic "sister" (or "nun," even though the latter term is technically not entirely accurate). This blog's motto: "If anyone wants to know my opinion, he only has to click for it!" (cf. Dame Alice More in "A Man for All Seasons").
I invite all to visit Sister Anne's blog. She has a lot to say and she's also a good friend of this podcast as well as the other Sister's over at Pauline Books and Media in Chicago, IL.
We hope to have her soon as a guest on Take Two. But for now, you can find her link here or in our Links Section.

This weekend, thanks the kind generosity of Yolanda V. Surath, we attened the Chastity Educational Initiative 3rd Annual Benefit Dinner sponsored by the Respect for Life Office of the Archdiocese of Chicago, at the Sheraton in Chicago, Illinois.
We were welcomed by the Respect for Life Director of the Archdiocese of Chicago, Mary-Louise Kurey. Special remarks were give by His Emminence, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I. (shown above)
The keynote presentation was given by Kerri Caviezel, National Chastity Speaker, and her husband Jim Caviezel, Star of The Passion of the Christ. (shown below)
Kerri Caviezal's Respect for Life presentation was articulate, sincere, and straightforward. I can see why she is the National Speaker.
I have to admit that I did not want to go to this event. I've seen interviews on EWTN with Jim Caviezel where he appears a bit soft-spoken. I could see speaking the masses at this function. But, in all honesty I have to say he took the over 900 poeple that were in attendance "by storm." He recieved various standing ovations throughout the night. To say the least, his testimonial and message was sincere, powerful and compelling. At times there was humor yet he remained focused. One couldn't help but to walk away full of inspiration in their lives.
I give a lot of credit to Jim and Kerri for taking this upon themselves. It takes a special couple to fearlessly confront the world about the truth. Especially as celebrities.
